FOUNDER
ferdy nadzir
Ferdy has always been an on the ground person. Graduating from the National Arts Academy in 2007, he has a major in Filmmaking and since then has grown with the industry. Being a former musician, he decided to pursue visual arts with photography as the basics of his craft, combining the elements from both photo and video into a new concept based on the same fundamentals. Ferdy began to hone his skills and vision in 2005 and truly began his production team in 2015 after gaining much confidence in his ability to produce quality work for a wide range of clients. Having trained by the film industry, performed in the music industry and worked in the outdoor advertising industry, Ferdy connected the dots and form a fresh new collective with a shared creative vision. From the countless hours of building relation- ships, delivering contracts and earning each other’s trusts, Casa Ferdestro was born. With an aim to benefit the local industry and help provide jobs for local talents, Ferdy is prepared and confident to deliver what is required while exploring new potentials. He believes in being passionate about your work, and turning ones hobbies into a profession and living your hobby is a possible medium of sustain- able work. This is where having a group of people that is always hungry for action gets a platform to perform. Ferdy believes in good companionship, where each member complements each other’s strengths and weaknesses, working in symbiosis like a liv- ing organism. This is where having a good team of likeminded individuals come in.
CO-FOUNDER
amira putri
Amira is the rose amongst the thorns in Casa, having a vast and valuable experience thanks to her colourful working experiences. This Broad- casting graduate from the Malaysian Institute of Integrative Media (formally known as TV3 Academy) also believe that as a former cabin crew, flying both domestic and international, was what literally helped hone her charm and basic communication and presentation skills. In 2004, Amira made a career jump into serving the Immigration Department of Malaysia for an astounding 12 years as the Administrative Secretary then progressed through the ranks of the Enforcement Department, and the Corporate and Human Resource Department of the agency. This is where she learned the formality of dealing with Government Agencies and the like, building a good working relationship with the Royal Malaysian Police Force, the Malaysian Customs and various Embassies in the country, to name a few. Amira then finally ventured into the production life again in 2016 and co-founded Casa in 2017. She compliments the company on management, pre planning and strategizing the company’s activities and branding to earn the right of being noticed. Her direction of steering the company is essential as the contrast between the management and ground teams, she sees things with a different angle, thus providing a bridge between the two, complementing the needs of both directors.
